MAGIC FIELD GUIDE

What you discover changes your options.

Magic must be found, and most is learned out in the world. That makes exploration part of combat preparation. Steam does not provide a complete spell database, exact acquisition map or values for damage and cooldowns.

Record where and how you actually acquired an ability. Do not plan around a spell location that has not been verified.

Magic

Mostly world-found → Depends on discovery → Record acquisition

Track acquisition separately from use

Write the ability name, the character you were playing, the place and the acquisition method. Mark it discovered only when you have confirmed it in your own session.

Distinguish location memory from a spawn rule

One discovery tells you what happened in that match. Repeated checks across builds are needed before publishing a fixed location or guaranteed route. The tracker stores landmarks and personal notes, not a fake live map.

Compare with the innate Technique

Techniques begin with the character; most Magic depends on world discovery. A planning preference for Magic does not guarantee that a particular ability will be available.

Treat scroll questions carefully

Scrolls are a common player question and appear in secondary coverage. The verified Steam description only establishes world-found Magic. We will publish item names and scroll routes once first-party or live-build evidence supports them.

  • Magic must be found; most is learned through exploration of the world.
  • Combat Techniques are innate to characters. Envoys come from different cultures with their own Techniques or Magic.
  • Gathering materials, defeating enemies and solving mechanisms can yield resources and items for stronger weapons and Magic.
